 New Year's Eve in Cabo!!Incase anyone hasn't seen the news yet, Sammy posted a message regarding a New Year's show...sounds like his birthday stuff all over again!! I'm hoping I can talk my husband into going!
"New Year's Eve Anyone? Hey Redheads! There is more news, Sammy and the Wabo's will be doing a New Year's Eve show at the Cabo Wabo Cantina in Cabo and unfortunately because it will be more of a dinner, champagne tequila all inclusive type of show we have to charge. We are working out the price and will post asap. And the other good news is we will be doing free shows on the 1/2, 1/3 & 1/5 possibly one more in that first week in January. On 1/7 we have the band that Sammy hired for Kari's private birthday party at the Cabo Wabo, Wonderbread 5, Sammy's favorite party cover band will play on the 7th to the public. We have the airfare covered, possibly the hotel as well, so now it's a matter of what Sammy will charge and if we (I) can get tickets! I'm workin' on it...I'll just have to be extra good until then! ha ha I've never been for New Year's, but I did talk to a couple of people in line who had been but they didn't mention much, just said it was fun. I could be WAY wrong, but I wouldn't think that it's as crazy as the birthday bash. Hmmm, that's not necessarily a bad thing! haha A vacation without having to wait in line all week...no, not bad at all! haha  _________________ Right here, Right now... |

Well, according to the post from Sammy on Redrocker.com, it says they have to charge for the NYE show, but the shows on the 1st, 2nd and 5th are FREE, so I'm guessing it'll be just like the October shows and you'll have to line up at the Cantina at some point in time to get tix/wristbands for any or all of these shows. From Redrocker.com (12-04-06) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Show tickets for New Year's Eve Dinner Shows 1st seating $120 US – Includes dinner, welcome waborita, show admission & reserved table for show 2nd seating $80 US – Includes dinner, welcome waborita, show admission – does not include table for show Club & Show admission General admission tickets $50 Further information and reservations will be taken over the phone at 011 624 132 4514 with Carlos Ortega from 9:00 PM to 5:00 PM starting Dec 4th. Or via e-mail at carlos_cabowabo@prodigy.net.mx *******January 2,3 & 5 shows will be free of charge and tickets will be handed out at 8:30 am the morning of the show on first come first serve basis. Two tickets per person in line. |
